Mme. Caldwell's grade one class participated in National Tree Day on September 26th, 2017. To celebrate the importance of trees the class took part in a Tree Planting Ceremony with Miss. Beckie LaBillois, the Mi'kmaq Language & Culture Teacher. The class learned about the importance of the Ash Tree for Mi'kmaq people and concluded the festivities by planting a beautiful Mountain Ash Tree that was donated by Aménagement Bélanger Landscaping Inc.
